Microsoft Windows 8 Preview With ASUS ET2410 Multi-Touch AIO Desktop PC NCIX Tech Tips

ncix.com I apologize for the reflections in the screen. The user experience is actually much better in person with this desktop, but glass screens are a necessary evil for touch screen displays for better durability and a better “feeling” when using them compared to plastic ones.

HTC One X review: Full review of the camera, processor and OS

HTC One X review: Full review of the camera, processor and OS. The HTC One X was announced at MWC 2012 in Barcelona and is the flagship model of the the brand’s new One Series, which also comprises the HTC One S and HTC One V. The new handset sports a large 4.7-inch screen along with a Quad-core processor and NFC capability. HTC One X: Build The HTC One X features the maker’s usual unibody design, though this time it sports a new polycarbonate material. The edges of the phone have a glossy look and feel, while the back panel feels more silky to the touch. Not only does this make the One X look and feel like a premium phone, it also makes it very comfy to hold. We got hands-on with a grey model, while there’s also a white version available. HTC One X: Features Along with the other two handsets in the new range, the HTC One X includes built-in Beats audio, as found on previous models such as the HTC Sensation XE and the HTC Sensation XL. The phone also includes a new version of HTC Sync which enables you to wirelessly sync from a PC. HTC One X: Screen The HTC X has an impressively large screen, measuring in at 4.7-inch, putting it head-to-head with the likes of the HTC Titan and the LG Optimus 3D, in terms of screen size. Even under the harsh lights of the demo room, the screen held its own, appearing bright and clear, with an impressive viewing angle, we it looks set to be a good performer in bright sunshine. HTC One X: Camera HTC has invested heavily in the development of

proRM Business Solutions: Real Time Project Monitoring

The most innovative part of proRM is the “Real Time Process Monitoring” (RTPM) concept with “Estimated to Complete” (ETC) for activities, tasks and projects. Traditional project management software usually only takes the estimations that have been made by the project managers into account. Project manager would estimate a fixed number of hours or man-days for a task and every calculation for completion and budget is done based on this estimated fixed value. In reality however, the actual status of the tasks almost never meets the estimation of the project manager, because the project manager’s estimation is nothing but a forecast and planning before the task actually starts. The real time monitoring and proactive approach requires more than that though. Exactly this critical issue for a proactive project and resource management is solved in the best and simplest way by proRM as an absolutely unique feature in the market. proRM introduced the “ETC” concept to realize “RTPM” for innovative project managers and employees. When the project employees are creating their time entries for the assigned project tasks, they also provide their estimation for the rest of the task to be completed. This real time value coming from the employee for each time entry will be used by the proRM “Project Controlling Module” to provide a real time analysis about the tasks and projects considering task and project completion, budget, budget requests, danger areas and possible project delays by

Samsung RV520 (Hands-On)

Full review: www.businesscomputingworld.co.uk Like me on Facebook: www.facebook.com Follow me on Twitter: twitter.com Samsung’s RV520 offers good all-round value. Its ergonomic features, including the chiclet-style keyboard and beautiful display also ensure a more enjoyable and productive user experience. And a battery life of around 6 hours is hard to beat in a 15-inch laptop. However, the RV520 is a budget laptop that hasn’t been designed specifically for business users, so it lacks in terms of design, power and data security.

PIONEER AVH-P3300BT REVIEW STREAMING VIDEOS, BLUETOOTH & NAVIGATION

My somewhat detailed review on this amazing unit, the Pioneer AVH P3300BT. As always Pioneer makes some of the most advanced car audio electronics and this unit remains one of the hottest double din dvd players in the market. Pioneer designed the AVH-P3300BT DVD receiver for all you multimedia fans who also want hands-free calling as part of the overall package. When a call comes in, this Pioneer will mute the music and allow you to take the call on your compatible phone without taking your hands off the wheel — that’s a real safety advantage when you’re on the road. Listen to online content with Pandora Link If you’re into Pandora®, now you can put it on board. Just download Pioneer’s free Pandora Link app, hook up your iPhone to the receiver’s USB port with the optional iPod cable, and you can use the receiver’s controls to navigate your way through your Pandora stations. You’ll enjoy total control over Pandora, including displays of artist, album, and song information on the receiver’s colorful screen. Touchscreen paradise The crystal-clear 5.8″ color touchscreen serves as the receiver’s point of access. Pioneer’s designers put a lot of thought into creating a user-friendly display with intuitive controls, and you’ll never get tired of whipping through menus and settings by tapping, swiping, or dragging icons. Enjoy entertainment options Just connect your iPod® to the front USB input and you’ll be able to use the receiver’s controls to access your music. Again, Pioneer

Best Nokia Smartphone:Nokia Lumia 800 vs Nokia N9

booredatwork.com Twitter: twitter.com Facebook: www.facebook.com Google+: plus.google.com Empireavenue: www.empireavenue.com Introduction: The device Nokia needed Despite retaining its position as the largest handset maker in the world, Nokia’s market share has dropped significantly in the past few years, with increasing numbers of people dropping Symbian in favor of the iPhone or Android. When CEO Stephen Elop announced in February that Nokia would be adopting Windows Phone as its new primary platform, opinions were divided. Part of this division was based on the announcement of the N9, with many considering MeeGo to be a better path to follow as it would allow Nokia not only separation from the competition, but also total control over the software on its phones. With the launch of the Lumia 800 running Windows Phone 7.5, aka Mango, consumers can now decide whether they think the decision was justified — and whether they will make a return to Nokia handsets. This review is based on the user experience of both the Lumia 800 and the Nokia N9 to offer an opinion on whether Nokia was right to jump to Windows Phone or if the Finnish giant should have stuck with MeeGo. Overall: stunning hardware, fresh software The design of the N9 was a major hit with reviewers, offering a sleek unibody exterior with no joins or seams to be found anywhere. The screen is slightly convex, providing improved viewing angles, and the Clear Back Display displays colors brilliantly even in direct
